The Role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Freelance UX Designer with 3+ years experience designing mobile apps. You’ll be collaborating closely and will participate in our growth team, which includes engineers, head of product, marketing, and executive team.

You’ll be designing and shipping weekly features and experiments. You’ll be responsible for creating designs for upcoming features and handing them off to our engineering team. You will define, ideate, validate, design, and update – continuing to evolve Lex over time with every feature release. Every week we’ll ship new design experiences to hundreds of thousands of users and see the impact directly.

What You'll Do

• Execute and design solutions that support product strategy and hit business goals
• Maintain and evolve components, styles and assets to promote ease, accessibility and consistency within the UI and overall brand
• Assist marketing team with graphic design tasks for social, OOH campaigns – as needed
• Prototype design solutions for usability testing
• Ensure solutions are creative, engaging and think outside the box
• Ensure solutions are inclusive, intersectional and tailored to the queer community
• Ensure solutions are accessible and intuitive and respect user privacy
• Refine and hand off feature designs and documentation and ensure they align with the Product Design System
